Guitarist-vocalist, composer and artist Kat Dyson relocated to Los Angeles from Minneapolis a few years ago...a native southerner, with rock and blues in her soul, she was lead guitarist and band member for Prince and The New Power Generation during the Jam of the Year and Emancipation tours as well as his electrifying 2005 NAACP awards performance. She has performed alongside such artists as Cyndi Lauper, Mick Jagger, Sarah McLachlan, Buddy Guy, BB King, Chaka Khan, T.I., Carlos Santana, Stevie Wonder, Natalie Cole, Celine Dion, Donny Osmond, Ziggy Marley, Musique Soulchild, Patti LaBelle, Mary Mary, D'Angelo, George Clinton and the P Funk All Stars among others. She just completed 111 shows with Italian rock artist Zucchero on the highly acclaimed Fly Tour 2007. In addition to releasing her EP "Colour Kommentary", she has composed music for television and film.
